Dear participants,


Rikon welcomes individuals, creative individuals, companies, associations, publishers, artists, and craftsmen who exhibit their work at merchant or promotional stands, or exhibit their work at the Rikon venue.


Your decorated stand is an opportunity to share your story, win over the audience by showcasing your creativity, it is an opportunity to be visible in numerous photos, and to increase traffic to your social networks or pages.


These are the terms and conditions for operating a stand at Rikon. You can operate a merchant / selling stand or a promotional stand.



Terms and conditions for promotional stands:

  • The promotional stand may not sell or charge for exhibited items.
  • The promotional stand is an arranged table / space for the presentation of creative individuals or groups (associations, conventions, etc.) where you can exhibit promotional materials.
  • The promotional stand must include clearly displayed contacts, business cards, posters, links or QR codes that lead to the portfolio, social networks etc.
  • Any content related to science fiction, fantasy, horror, books, comics, board games, anime, manga, video games, activities, events, projects, etc. can be presented.
  • Operators of promotional stands receive two tickets for Rikon.
  • The owner of the stand must be present at Rikon on Friday and Saturday. Participation on Sunday is optional. The stand has to be set up on time on Friday afternoon before opening hours. The stand has to be cleaned out no later than closing time on Sunday.
  • When applying for a stand, the owner must state the days on which they plan to participate. The owner must also inform the organizers of any other extraordinary circumstance in a timely manner.
  • The owners of the stand are responsible for their personal property and in case of theft the organizers cannot be held responsible.
  • The stand needs to be packed up overnight as the Rikon venue is a public space on Saturday morning. If you do not have a place to store your items, contact the organizers or volunteers, and we will store your items in the organizer's room.


Terms and conditions for merchant stands:

  • The merchant stand is a decorated table / space for the presentation and sale of goods of crafts, companies, associations, publishers and more.
  • The merchant stand must include clearly displayed contacts, business cards, posters, links or QR codes that lead to the portfolio, social networks etc.
  • The merchant stand must issue an invoice to customers for the purchased goods, in accordance with all laws and regulations of the Republic of Croatia.
  • Rikon provides power and Internet for all stands.
  • Merchant stands are subject to participation fees paid with goods (not cash). Each stand must donate goods in the amount of 200 kn (25-30 €) and deliver them to the stand coordinator when preparing the stand. Your goods and products will exclusively be awarded as prizes for competitions and quizzes, which offers a bit of extra promotion. The goods will not be used for any other purpose.

Limitations:

  • stands cannot exhibit, distribute or sell alcoholic beverages except with authorization from the organizers.
  • It is strictly prohibited to exhibit, distribute or sell narcotics, drugs etc.
  • stands cannot exhibit, distribute or sell food, cake or similar items. Rikon offers all visitors food prepared in controlled conditions that meet the requirements of the regulations and laws of the Republic of Croatia.
  • Use of pyrotechnics or open flames is strictly prohibited.


All participants are required to read and follow the code of conduct for visitors.


For art exhibitors, we recommend preparing printouts with QR codes with links to portfolios, websites, social networks and more in case someone wants to buy your work or commission you.


Setting up stands and art exhibitions:

  • Rikon Friday from 2 - 4 pm,
  • Rikon Saturday from 10 -12 am.


Cleaning out stands and art exhibitions:

  • Rikon Sunday from 5 - 6 pm.
