At Rikon, we are proud to collaborate with some of the most respected international guests. Over the past years, we have had the privilege of hosting the following talented authors:



• Adrian Tchaikovsky: Acclaimed British writer, winner of the Arthur C. Clarke Award, known for his masterpiece "Children of Time". His imaginative and deeply thought-out works explore a wide range of science fiction themes.
• Gareth L. Powell: Award-winning British writer, author of the popular "Ack-Ack Macaque" series and the novel "Embers of War." His works combine action, adventure and intriguing sci-fi concepts.
• Aliette de Bodard: American-French writer known for the "Xuya" series that explores futuristic Asian culture. Winner of numerous awards, including the prestigious Nebula Award and the Hugo Award.
• Emma Newman: British writer, podcaster and audio book narrator. Her works, such as "Planetfall" and "Split Worlds" series, combine elements of science fiction, fantasy and mystery.
• Thomas Olde Heuvelt: Dutch writer who conquered the world audience with his novel "HEX". His works stand out for their dark atmosphere and original concepts.

These talented authors bring a wealth of imagination, originality and quality to our festival. Their visits are extremely valuable, giving our audience the opportunity to immerse themselves in the world of their stories and created worlds.
